Toshiba Shows First HD DVD Laptop

tosh_quo_hddvd.jpgToday at E3, Toshiba unveils the Qosmio G35-AV650, the first notebook with an HD DVD player inside. It's also loaded with a 17-inch 1920x1200 display, a 2GHz Intel Core Duo processor, two 100GB hard drives in a RAID configuration and a gig of DDR2 memory. It's not skimping in the graphics department, either, with an NVidia GeForce Go 7600 256MB graphics card. Weighing a hefty 10.1 pounds, it will be running Microsoft Windows Media Center Edition 2005, and will cost a cool $3000. Look for it on Toshiba's website later this week and in stores next week.
